Whilst working on one of my current projects here in Cornwall, I have come across the most inspiring materials. Sometimes granite paving stone can be a bit 'lifeless' and with little character. In one word: Soulless.
Not what I have seen this week! Despite the November weather one could feel the hard work that has been behind producing these granite slabs. Some of the granite I saw that day has been walked on for a long time, some of it has just been laid.
Other pieces are still at the stone mason's quarry - ready for future garden projects with a soul.
