Today I have attended a day of both classroom based and practical training to enhance my knowledge on traditional orchards. Everything from planting 'maidens' to pruning mature trees was covered on this beautiful sunny and cold day. In the afternoon, I left with plenty of new ideas for current and future garden designs. I cannot wait to start sketching.
