Autumn flair at Trerice near Newquay on the Cornish Coast brightened up a mixed Sunday morning. Here and there, the bright orange and yellow of Calendula and other annuals popped up between blue and lilac flowering perennials. I quickly took a photo whenever there was a gap within the clouds.
The 'fairly new' knot garden with lavender and yew replaces an old orchard. Some of the old apple trees were still there.
