I have had the pleasure of visiting a garden I designed this spring. The planting was carried out in June after the landscape was re-shaped around the beautiful new swimming pool using large granite boulders, which were part of the original scheme.

Pennisetum, Melianthus, Kniphofia, Gaura, Verbena, Echium and Echeveria are only a few of the plants that are thriving in this new part of the garden. These create lush borders that will bring a taste of gardens you may have seen further afield. Some of these plants are endemic to South Africa, Australasia and South America.
